Nathalie Joffre is a French artist based in Paris (photography, video, installation).
Her video work He told me that his garden… based on Bethlem Royal Hospital’s archives ( London), was rewarded with the Sproxton Award for Photography 2012 (London), the ICART Prize for Contemporary Art 2013 (Paris) and short-listed for the Celeste Prize 2013 & the Prix de Nuit Photographiques 2013. She has been the recipient of various bursaries (French Ministry of Culture 2013, Katia & Marielle Labèque Fundation Roma 2014, NEARCH / Oxford University / European Union 2015-2016).  Her work has been shown in various exhibitions and festivals internationally. In 2016, her video & installations work around archaeology has been shown at the 104 Art Center in Paris, where she was an artist in residence in 2015.

Nathalie Joffre holds Masters degrees from ESSEC Business School (Paris) (2005), La Sorbonne (MA History of art) (2006). She studied Visual Arts at the University Jules Vernes in Amiens, France (Mres, 2011) and Photography at London College of Communication (MA, 2012).
